On the Sounders, well done for beating the Galaxy this weekend, made the news on this side of the pond, after a certain Mr. Beckham was sent off, and a Donovan apparently played even though he had swine flu?

On the healthcare debate, it's really sad how people are reacting, about how Obama is a socialist, and you're right, there's more than a hint of racism about this. In the same way I feel that the people asking him to prove that he is American are just upset to see a black man in the white house. 

And finally, like you said, the healthcare debate doesn't make sense to me. To have to decide on whether you can afford to go to the hospital or not in the Western world in 2009 is just unthinkable. It's a shame that the people who are opposing it, are those who can afford to pay, those who can't afford it seem to be the silent minority.</description>
